for so long i waited
hoping everyday

a smile a glace
an acknowledgement
i yearned for just one look
assurance i was not invisible
i practiced

hours, days go by
late at night
i lay awake and cry

can't he see

today that look came

you looked so surprised

this makes me cry, its very beautiful. and it true. so true for so many girl, women, boys, men, people in love with someone who could never understand that they are the only reason why we are still here. that we will spend our whole lives waiting for someone just like them, or spend it waiting to die.
