Everyday Hero's

I had another post planned for today (Otto's Monday Madness),then I came across this beautiful poem on a site I found through Houston's comments. I'm sure you'll understand.
Everyday Heros

Those special everyday heroes
There are seldom headlines
for special everyday heroes
no there is not even a ticker tape parade
or no standing ovation for
those special everyday heroes

sometimes it’s all they can do
even to set their feet on the floor
in the morning or evening
they go through their days
the best they know how

no rainbow arch in the sky is needed
to inspire them for they have a special courage
those special everyday heroes
go through their days
the best they know how
