This is MY America

You will notice there's a lot more purple than either red or blue. Well, that's the way I see the United States. No single party has a patent on higher moral values. To imply that those who voted democrat or independent are somehow morally deficit, is as ridiculous as it is to imply that those who voted republican are stupid, religious zealots. We are all simply people struggling to do the best we can in a world that appears to be spiraling out of control around us. That doesn't mean we should sit back and not complain. Or blindly accept the decisions of our government. It is our job to keep them as close to honest as possible, and to insure that they respect the will of the people. All the people.
